Coronavirus Vaccination & Testing Protocols to the United States
On October 25, 2021, The President of the United States issued a proclamation regarding the safe advancement of global travel due to Coronavirus. You can read the entire proclamation here. We are encouraged by this proclamation as it ensures we can help each of you realize your goal of participating in US-based cultural and job-based opportunities.
So, what’s required to enter the US:
· You must show proof of full and updated Covid-19 vaccination status;
· You must take a pre-departure Covid-19 test within 72 hours of travel and show proof of negative result before boarding flight;
· You must wear a mask while in any public transportation spaces in the United States.
You can read the entire United States entry requirements as issued by the CDC here.
Please Note: If you are a J1 visa intern applicant, you should also monitor US visa processing timelines and processes from our US Department of State to make sure you account for Visa processing timeframes in addition to Covid-related travel protocols.
