All Good Things Must Come to an End

Reflecting on my 8 weeks in Spain, I can say with confidence that they were the best 8 weeks of my entire life. Without even realizing it, my internship experiences and my travel experiences helped me grow. Reflecting on the opportunity, I was really glad that I chose to do an internship rather than studying abroad.  It gave me more of an opportunity to experience the culture and to be with people who live and work in Madrid.  At the same time, I was working with a great company that is well known and helped give me a background in Corporate Finance.

Some of my last evenings in Madrid were spent touring the city and savoring the sights. I realized the great friends I had made with other interns, at Groupon and in other internships. Some of these friends were offered paid positions with their companies for the following summer.  These friendships will last a lifetime.  Madrid will always be my second home!
