With London souvenirs weighing down my purse and the two suitcases I had to check-in, (I guess I bought more than I thought in London) I was finally back on the continent that felt like home. My time in London has molded me into a Danielle unfamiliar to my parents. I am now a woman that has seen one of the Seven Wonders of the World, swam in the ocean off Spain’s coast, and successfully managed to wake up at 8 am every morning for two months. I am practically unrecognizable.

For the future, I will constantly miss the wonderful people I met in London, and promise to keep in touch and continue to learn from my co-workers at Romley Davies. After a summer of seeing the world, growing up, and discovering I had more strength in me than I believed, a peaceful last couple of weeks is exactly what I want and need.

If you have the opportunity that I had to travel anywhere with Intrax, make sure you say, “Yes” to that chance, because my time in the program was invaluable. Maybe someday you too will find yourself nervously awaiting the arrival of your visa, tentatively stepping onto your international flight, and changing your life for the better. When you don’t think you have what it takes to pack everything and live in a different continent just remember, “You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

If it scares you, it might be a good thing to try.
