It is my second to last week at my internship.  I've learned so much while I've been here. One of the major projects I have been working on at Contrapunto was to help rebrand one of their international accounts.  The Sanex account was looking to put a new spin on their ads to reach a younger and more health-conscious population. The ads they currently had were running well in Spain but had a different reaction in the other countries of Europe.  I did some research and created studies to see why it wasn't responding as well. With my findings, I was able to pitch a possible spin on future advertisements for the line.  It was so rewarding to play such a big role for an important client, and I hope that my recommendation will be used in the future!

To celebrate after presenting my recommendations, my friends and I went to a place where locals go, just right outside of the city.  It was about a 30-minute drive, and we arrived early.  The area was filled with small, delightful outdoor bars, and one was called Elvis, so we went in.  The bar reminded me of an old diner.  After getting drinks, we sat outside in the beautiful night and talked and laughed and sang.  We watched older couples dance all their cares away to traditional Spanish dances inside a bar.  We were surprised at all the young children, around ten or so that were still awake at such a late hour.  It was such a delightful atmosphere that I'm sure I will go back to visit before I leave again!
