To the people I was blessed to meet and had the pleasure of working with, thank you so much. I came into the summer with the anticipation of solely focusing on work. While I did devote a lot of time to my company, I never expected the friendships that came from this summer. We all did so much together throughout the Tokyo area and beyond, and it saddens me that it has all come to an end. I wish I had more time with you all to go to onsens, get ramen, sing karaoke, do purikura, or any other fun activity that we may have dabbled in. Amicable and truly kind at heart, you all made Tokyo feel like a second home to me 7,000 miles away from my abode in little New Jersey. I think our collective personalities were really different, but that just means we all brought something unique to the table. Because of that, there was never a dull moment or a lapse in fun. Maybe I am just a prisoner of the moment, and even though everyone always says it, I really, really hope to see some of you in the future. This summer went by so quickly and its everlasting memories can largely be credited to you all.
This summer was so wonderful. I had so much fun and learned so much about myself. I did more than I ever imagined doing both at my company and in terms of exploring and experiencing Japan’s unique culture. Thank you so much for reading my blog, and if there are any prospective Intrax interns out there that want to inquire more about my experience at BTMU this summer, please do not hesitate to send me a message via Facebook or email. It was an experience I will never forget.
